I am 66 years young at last count ( so at least James says) my wife and I have been training together with James for more than 10 years on 2 or 3 early mornings each week. The past 3 years of small group outdoor sessions in Rushcutters Bay Park are an amazing way to start the day, they have improved my overall strength, core and flexibility plus given me loads more energy and its all come with lots of fun and laughs plus the dreaded exercises. I've even learnt to count to 15 and sometimes to 22!!
I came to James unfit and imbalanced after breaking my leg six months ago. I had no self belief, a weak mindset that was full of fear and extremely reluctant to get out of my comfort zone. Working with James not only put my body back together it transformed my mind and I was recently ranked as the no.1 goal keeper in my league. Thank you James.
I have been training with James since 2005 and James is a fantastically inspirational, supportive and dedicated trainer. During this time, James has adapted our training sessions to accommodate the different stages of my life including helping me to overcome a previous injury, training throughout pregnancy and more generally improving my fitness and weight levels. James' flexible approach to training is hugely beneficial and the sessions are great fun - I would absolutely recommend James as a trainer.
After a fairly active life of weekend Rugby and a job where I was on my feet all day using my muscles, I moved to Sydney and got a less active job! I started with Out Fitness as a fun and convenient way to keep fit and active and have really found that with even only 1 day a week, the range that James’ fitness program entails has kept me at a comfortable fitness level and I have managed to stay around my ideal weight. The best part is that you aren’t copped up in a sweaty hot gym, but are able to enjoy the convenience of a gym and trainer outside!
I had neglected my fitness due to work and family commitments for too long and needed to manage my stress better. Training with James gave me the structure I needed to fit fitness into my busy schedule as well as the much needed motivation to stick with it. As result I have more energy, am more productive at work and no doubt better company at home.
I have been training with James Ferguson now for close to 20 years and my original plan was to diversify my training regime from pounding up and down a swimming pool. As soon as my schedule of two half hour sessions a week of personal training commenced with James I noticed immediate results. My cardiovascular fitness and strength increased dramatically. I found James to be extremely knowledgeable and his input on diet also helped in my overall fitness endeavours. I could not recommend James highly enough.
